O'Donnell Is Going To Win

I am going to go out on a limb; I am predicting that Christine O'Donnell is about to make a fool out of Rove by doing what he said that she could never do: win the Delaware Senate seat.


I am no political pundit; however, sitting in a power plant control for many years has taught me to quickly ascertain what is most pertinent in complex situations. In upset conditions, you are bombarded with an avalanche of cascading system failures. Regaining control can only be done when you have used logic to disregard the irrelevant, and have dealt with the problem's root cause.


I am using this same approach to try and determine the outcome of Delaware’s Senate race.


What first stuck me as questionable was the assumption that moderate voters would abandon Republicans after O’Donnell won her primary. Questionable because there were no moderate candidates for the voters to choose from.


Mike Castle is on the far left of practically every key issue. He supports gun control, gay marriage, abortion, tax hikes, amnesty for illegals and Obama care.


Any voter sporting, not one or two, but any of these positions is undoubtedly a liberal. The next question is -- why would a liberal want to elect Castle and break democratic control of the Senate? I just can’t see one wanting to do that. I believe the votes that Castle did get were from conservatives that were convinced that O’Donnell couldn’t win. These people are going to end up voting Republican.


There is no flux here; the issues he supported are too black and white, too polarizing, and too partisan. There is simply not enough gray area to house many moderates.


If Castle was destined to win in Delaware then O'Donnell is destined to win Delaware.


I don't care what the polls are saying. Logic says that the root cause of Castle’s support was that his supporters wanted to defeat the Nancy Hussein Reid agenda, but feared O’Donnell wouldn’t get it done.


I could be wrong, but I think that O’Donnell is going to win!
