Rep. Weiner Spokesperson Lies To ‘New York Post’

There are at least two demonstrably false statements issued to the New York Post on behalf of Representative Anthony Weiner by his spokesperson, Dave Arnold.

Anthony Weiner Sexing Pic Of Large Erection On Twitter ?? Warning Graphic!

Sorry about this in advance! But just think of the possibilities here for puns; "My mind is a raging torrent, flooded with rivulets of thought cascading into a waterfall of creative alternatives."

My first thought was, this was an actual picture of Weiner; the resemblance is uncanny.

But the best I can tell is, this picture was allegedly sent from Weiner's Twitter account to some women, and Weiner is claiming that his account had been hacked.

The only thing is, all of his other pics disappeared soon after this pic hit the net.

As of 2009, 15 percent of Americans are Poor and on Food Stamps

The report is clear that America is broke. It is to the point that the poor are unable to afford to bury their dead. If Congress is debating on the escalating cost of food stamp, there is another issue that needs to be addressed. The escalating cost of food stamps is indicative that U.S. poverty rate is increasing. In the latest report, one in seven Americans live under the poverty rate. Under Obama, since 2009, a remarkable 15% of Americans are living in poverty. Also, while poverty in America is climbing, 44 million Americans (15%) rely on food stamps.

Because the economy has not changed since 2009, the figures reported will likely increase. This disturbing trend will only get worst. We do not know the true figures for 2011. Since the 2009 census data had been released, 45 million Americans (15%) were poor last year. In 2008, 13% of Americans lived in poverty. Under Obama, the economy is pathetic, poverty escalating, and more people are being more dependent on the government. I guess Obama isn't stupid after all.

(ABC News) Congress is under pressure to cut the rapidly rising costs of the federal government’s food stamps program at a time when a record number of Americans are relying on it.

The House Appropriations Committee today will review the fiscal year 2012 appropriations bill for the Department of Agriculture that includes $71 billion for the agency’s “Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program.” That’s $2 billion less than what President Obama requested but a 9 percent increase from 2011, which, critics say, is too large given the sizeable budget deficit.

A record number of Americans -- about 14 percent -- now rely on the federal government’s food stamps program and its rapid expansion in recent years has become a politically explosive topic.

More than 44.5 million Americans received SNAP benefits in March, an 11 percent increase from one year ago and nearly 61 percent higher than the same time four years ago.

Nearly 21 million households are reliant on food stamps.

Chinese Hack Google!

The Chinese are not keen on having Google on their websites, but that doesn't seem to douse their interest in hacking into your Gmail Account!

(TMP)Google on Wednesday disclosed that hackers in China have tricked "hundreds" of its e-mail service users into disclosing their personal account information, thereby allowing the online fraudsters to monitor those users' personal communications.

Google released this explanation.

The Internet has been an amazing force for good in the world—opening up communications, boosting economic growth and promoting free expression. But like all technologies, it can also be used for bad things. Today, despite the efforts of Internet companies and the security community, identity theft, fraud and the hijacking of people’s email accounts are common problems online.

Bad actors take advantage of the fact that most people aren’t that tech savvy—hijacking accounts by using malware and phishing scams that trick users into sharing their passwords, or by using passwords obtained by hacking other websites. Most account hijackings are not very targeted; they are designed to steal identities, acquire financial data or send spam. But some attacks are targeted at specific individuals.

Through the strength of our cloud-based security and abuse detection systems*, we recently uncovered a campaign to collect user passwords, likely through phishing. This campaign, which appears to originate from Jinan, China, affected what seem to be the personal Gmail accounts of hundreds of users including, among others, senior U.S. government officials, Chinese political activists, officials in several Asian countries (predominantly South Korea), military personnel and journalists.

The goal of this effort seems to have been to monitor the contents of these users’ emails, with the perpetrators apparently using stolen passwords to change peoples’ forwarding and delegation settings. (Gmail enables you to forward your emails automatically, as well as grant others access to your account.)

Google detected and has disrupted this campaign to take users’ passwords and monitor their emails. We have notified victims and secured their accounts. In addition, we have notified relevant government authorities.

It’s important to stress that our internal systems have not been affected—these account hijackings were not the result of a security problem with Gmail itself. But we believe that being open about these security issues helps users better protect their information online.

Is The Dallas Super Star Dirk Nowitzki A Victim Of Racism?

I was listing to ESPN radio when the question was raised "what would help the NBA more as a franchise, a championship serious win for the Heat or the Mavericks?"

The answers were very one sided. Not only were all of the callers black -- indicated by the Ebonics -- they all thought that it would be better if the Heat won, because they were all openly rooting for Lebron James. Why is that?

Is it a racist thing, like when Spike Lee said, "Larry Bird was an overrated product of White Media?"

I really think that it is.

I think the Mavericks are being discriminated against because their super star Dirk Nowitzki is not a black man, and it is really sad.

I just watched a bunch of white guys jumping and cheering while Rampage Jackson beat up on the snow white Matt Hamill, in UFC 130 -- I was one of them.

So if the white community can put race behind them, and root for a team for more honorable reasons, it is time for blacks to do the same.

Stop being so racist, and give Dirk some love.

Donald Trump on Palin Meeting: She's Misunderstood and Highly Underrated

(by FoxNewsInsider)"After Tuesday's news-making NYC dinner meeting with Sarah Palin, Donald Trump goes On the Record with Greta Van Susteren to give his own take of the one-on-one. Barack Obama: Saul Alinsky's Fanning Resentment and Hostility

I am currently rereading Saul Alinsky's Rules for Radicals: A Pragmatic Primer for Realistic Radcials. While reading the book, I've compared President Barack Obama's actions and governing style with Alinsky's explanations of the role of the community organizer. Obama's "style" and, especially, his mismanagement of the office of the President of the United States can be understood completely when compared with Alinsky's socialist philosophy.

One example of how Obama operates struck me this morning:
[The organizer] has taken a group;...he has fanned their resentments and hostilities by a number of means, including challenging contrasts of better conditions....And so the... organizer simultaneously breeds conflict and builds a power structure.
Consider Obama's campaign and the way he has subsequently dealt with the common American problems during the Bush administration of the war in Iraq, the failed mortgage industry, a floundering economy, and the rise in deficit spending. Using Bush to "fan resentment and hostility" Obama sailed into office as the Great Community Organizer.

We have to admit, that Alinsky's tactics worked for Obama. He certainly built resentment and hostility against George W. Bush and against conservative ideology.

Yet now that we have the resentment, we have to ask ourselves, has the Obama administration brought the "better conditions" that Americans sought during the 2008 election? Consider the following:
  • A spending package that increased debt spending and a federal deficit that dwarfs anything Bush did.
  • A spending package full of waste and payouts to big business (like GM).
  • A "stimulus" concept that failed to promote private sector jobs.
  • A "surge" in Afghanistan with no end in sight.
  • A health care deal guaranteed to increase taxes, raise medical costs, and hurt middle class Americans.
  • A "military action" in Libya with no Congressional oversight.
  • An economy still floundering and befuddling the mainstream media.
Are we really better off with Obama at the head of the US? He arrived in office using Alinsky's tactics, but his bankrupt ideology fails the litmus test of pragmatic solutions. And that, of course, fans resentment and hostility.

What did the Community Organizer in Chief expect?

John Hawkins -- Barack Obama is a little too dumb to be President

Mainstream Media Always Shocked by Bad Economic News

It seems I'm not the only one noticing this strange phenomena. It is a nuisance to hear a reporter calling a dull reports as "unexpected", "surprisingly", and "shocking". There is a certain tolerance the public would accept. After that threshold is met, words of sarcasm, cynicism, and vulgar words could be seen. It is obvious the media in this country is pro-Obama. Under the Obama Administration, reports, graphs, and pie charts are interpreted subjectively. They are manipulated to be politically expedient. Since there are other reports that can not be altered, the media look stupid trying to hide a contradiction. The media will never win. It is difficult to hide reality.

Washington Examiner Unexpectedly! As megablogger Glenn Reynolds, aka Instapundit, has noted with amusement, the word "unexpectedly" or variants thereon keep cropping up in mainstream media stories about the economy.

"New U.S. claims for unemployment benefits unexpectedly climbed," reported CNBC.com May 25.

"Personal consumption fell," Business Insider reported the same day, "when it was expected to rise."

"Durable goods declined 3.6 percent last month," Reuters reported May 25, "worse than economists' expectations."

"Previously owned home sales unexpectedly fall," headlined Bloomberg News May 19.

"U.S. home construction fell unexpectedly in April," wrote the Wall Street Journal May 18.

Those examples are all from the last two weeks. Reynolds has been linking to similar items since October 2009.

Mainstream media may finally be catching up. "The latest economic numbers have not been good," David Leonhardt wrote in the May 26 New York Times. "Another report showed that economic growth at the start of the year was no faster than the Commerce Department initially reported -- 'a real surprise,' said Ian Shepherdson of High Frequency Economics."

Which raises some questions. As Instapundit reader Gordon Stewart, quoted by Reynolds on May 17, put it, "How many times in a row can something happen unexpectedly before the experts start to, you know, expect it? At some point, shouldn't they be required to state the foundation for their expectations?"

One answer is that many in the mainstream media have been cheerleading for Barack Obama. They and he both naturally hope for a strong economic recovery. After all, Obama can't keep blaming the economic doldrums on George W. Bush forever.

I'm confident that any comparison of economic coverage in the Bush years and the coverage now would show far fewer variants of the word "unexpectedly" in stories suggesting economic doldrums.

Lame Stream Media Circus.

If the so-called Main Stream Media, whom I and others have chosen to re-label ‘The Lame Stream Media’, thought they had reached new heights of comedic journalistic slap-stick… they’re right. The vision of the ‘press’ frantically trying to second guess Sarah Palin as she takes them on a wild game of ‘Fox and Hounds’ is just too funny.

A couple of sound bites I picked up went something like… “and she didn’t even send us an itinerary”… and “we don’t know where she is”. Possibly, the most impacted by the dearth of Palin first-hand reportage is Andrea Mitchell, who seemingly has been basing her career on Palin bashing. Well, when it’s all ya’ got…

There is a move afoot, amongst the Lames, to pit Sarah Palin against Michele Bachmann. Michele Bachmann adroitly avoided the loaded questions and innuendo tossed at her in this all too obvious ploy. There is no surer indication of the abject fear which these two women generate in the DeMarxists than the incessant battering by the Lames and their bosses over at the DNC.

Then let us not forget the White House and their vested auxiliaries, the so-called public service unions, who have also repeatedly attacked both of these women viciously, in such a manner that if it had been a Conservative making those attacks they would be instantly pilloried.

All of our Republican candidates, and anyone who even looks like they might be one, can expect an anal exam the likes of which they’d never imagined. Still, after all they have done to personally ruin both of these women and their families… both have become even stronger. Sort of like the Tea Party movement, and it’s as true today… we just keep getting stronger.

We could do far worse than to have either of these fine ladies in high office. One look at the White House and it’s readily apparent that we have.

GM Admits that Dealerships are Taking Chevy Volt Tax Credits

Ever since General Motors and Obama became a partnership, the American people took ownership of an automobile company. Obama's poor decision cost the American people $11 billion. In fact, the American tax payer bailed out General Motors for billions of dollars and lost. Since many of the GM dealerships are individually owned, they are taking a huge lost. They become extremely desperate to take the tax credit away from the consumer in order to survive. This bad business behavior was fed by Obama's bailout money. The $50 billion bailout to the automaker was a huge mistake.

(NLPC) GM does not deny that Chevy dealerships are selling Chevy Volts to other dealerships, including a KIA dealership, for resale. At the same time, Peterson also touts the high demand for Volts claiming, "we don't sell Volts at the moment - it's almost like we deliver them." By this statement, you wouldn't know that sales for the Volt averaged a dismally low 425 per month for the first four months of the year. GM recently stated that they had the capacity to build at a pace of 17,000 per year. So, here's a question for GM and Mr. Peterson: If demand is so high for the Chevy Volt, why would a Chevy dealership sell the vehicle to other dealerships, particularly when there are supposedly customers lined up to pay full price? The answer seems clear to me. GM is exaggerating the "high demand" for the Volt. And allowing dealerships to take the tax credit intended for consumers is just wrong.

Peterson also claims that no issues exist with dealerships taking the tax subsidies as long as they are honest with customers. Unfortunately, there is no guarantee of that being the case. Many customers who buy Chevy Volts may feel that they are entitled to the tax credit, especially if they are paying near MSRP and the vehicles have such low mileage. The IRS form in its current form does not safeguard against double claiming of the tax credit.

More investigation is warranted on the practice of dealerships taking tax credits and reselling Chevy Volts as used cars. Treasury should modify the IRS tax credit form to clearly disallow dealerships from taking the tax credit. Also, I personally don't think businesses like General Electric, headed by Obama friend Jeff Immelt, should be allowed to take millions of tax dollars in credits when they purchase thousands of the vehicles, as planned. An identifier field for the Vehicle Identification Number should be added to the form to prevent double claims of the tax credit. General Motors has a responsibility to ensure that Chevy Volt tax credits are reserved for the consumers that they were designed to benefit. Misguided as tax subsidies for the Chevy Volt may be, the least taxpayers deserve is assurance that abuses are not occurring.
