Obama is a bully. Throwing insults and sarcasm, Obama humiliated Nicolas Sarkozy on the way the French President looks. At the G-20 Summit, Obama congratulated Sarkozy on the birth of his daughter Giulia with his supermodel wife Carla Bruni. Obama should have stopped there, but instead, he took a cheap shot when he said, "I’m confident that Giulia inherited her mother’s looks, rather than her father’s." Obama has got no clue who are our allies. Embarrassing remarks may suit well on ghetto streets of Illinois, but not to a leader of another country. If Obama continues to put foot in mouth, he will never get anything accomplish with foreign policy.
(Dailymail) There wasn’t much to smile about at the G20 summit, but that changed briefly when Barack Obama met Nicolas Sarkozy.
The difference in height was clear as the 6ft 2in U.S. President and his diminutive French counterpart took to their lecterns.
Mr Sarkozy, who is 5ft 5in, was wearing his usual stacked heels, but still found himself in Mr Obama’s shadow.
The U.S. President also took the opportunity to crack a joke at Mr Sarkozy’s expense as he congratulated him on the birth of his daughter Giulia with his supermodel wife Carla Bruni. ‘I’m confident that Giulia inherited her mother’s looks, rather than her father’s,’ he said.
An ashen-faced Mr Sarkozy nodded his head and smiled meekly, but otherwise looked far from comfortable next to his deadpan American counterpart.
Mr Sarkozy is notoriously sensitive about his looks, dieting constantly, and going out on power runs and cycle rides to keep in shape. He also has a nervous tic and prominent features which are often mimicked in France.
