White House Bound Turkey Tries To Escape

Hell, I would get some gone too with Mooch hanging around -- eyeballing me!!

Ted the Turkey isn't so sure about his pending White House pardon, so he decided to make a break for it. Ted is one of several Minnesota birds that will be sent to Washington, DC this week. One lucky bird will be pardoned by President Obama and spend the rest of his days in a petting zoo. The others will end up donated to a local food shelf. Minnesota Governor Mark Dayton will make the trip to Washington with the birds. He had to "pardon" the birds so they could make the trip.
