Obama Helps Defense Contractors Break the Law
VideeWell
Fox News alert on 10/2/2012. The Obama administration has informed Lockheed Martin that they do not need to send out layoff notices, and if legal action ensues, the U.S. government will use tax dollars to cover any legal costs from lawsuits due to the fact that they have been directed to break the law. Under current law, defense contractors must inform employees 60 days in advance of a layoff. Because of sequestration, this would require these notices to be sent just before Election Day.
