Not if you get your news from the main stream media, or most cable networks. To report the story would jeopardize President Obama’s re-election efforts.
Oh, select dribbles will come out in the coming days leading up to the election, but not everything. Certainly not anything that could sway voters away from our beloved leader.
Fox News is supposedly biased as well as conservative radio. And, of course, the conservative blogosphere consists of nothing but far right-wing rhetoric.
So, the story will remain untold until the election is over after which the main stream media will be all over it. Because, in the end, it is news; news that should have been reported months ago, regardless of the inconvenient timing.
And, when ultimately questioned, they’ll refer back to the trouble-free dribbles and drabs reported prior to the election to combat assertions of liberal bias.
For now, the media’s mantra will be that of an intelligence breakdown that will be investigated in due course. A matter that should not be politicized by either party considering the tragedy that unfolded.
To question the President’s handling of the incident, and its aftermath, would be “offensive”. We are, after all speaking of the man who directed the operation that killed Osama Bin Laden.
Ok, enough of the liberal spin!
The Benghazi issue, before, during, and after should be politicized, and most certainly made an issue of this election. It speaks not only to the competence of this President and his administration, but also to integrity and honor…the issues most worrisome to the President’s re-election campaign.
