What is the Second Amendment?

With the recent tragedy in Connecticut, gun rights have come under debate once again, and the question has been posed: "What does the second amendment mean?" Well the truth is that the second amendment was so that we had the right to protect ourselves against a tyrannical government. So we did not have to put complete responsibility of our security and rights on the government, and to be able to protect our own rights and freedoms if the need so arises. Please pray for the ones lost in this horrible tragedy, but understand that outlawing guns will not solve the problem at hand. May god bless all those lost. Amen.
