Taking on the powerful news media, Part 1

It may seem like a daunting task to take on a well funded institution.  The mass media has all sorts of resources at their disposal.  Now we've talked about the basic methodology that the news media uses to promote Leftism and to attack Liberty, but really, how can we counter this?  What kinds of actions can we take?

He who angers you controls you.  One of the first steps that you can take is a breather.  Don't become enraged by the shenanigans presented by the news media.  Anger is destructive and will cause you to make mistakes.  We can't afford mistakes.  We don't want to fulfill the stereotypes of liberty-lovers that the news media promotes.  This is the way in which the news media sought to denigrate the Tea Party movement.  Now, whether you support the Tea Party or not, it is a fact that it is a grassroots movement opposed to the Collectivist policies of the Left.

Why did the news media zero in on the Tea Party?  Because the Tea Party posed/poses a threat to the Left.  They were and are a legitimate threat to the propagation of Leftism in American politics.  The Tea Party scares Leftists because it demonstrates that there is opposition to the transformation of America on a massive level.  Silent majority anyone?

The news media fought tooth and nail to ridicule and misrepresent members of the Tea Party as angry, racist, fanatical, fear mongers bent on stopping the Democrat Party's glorious revolution.  In many ways, the news media fulfills the plan put forward by Saul Alinsky.  They ridicule the opposition, and one of the chief items of their ridicule is the perceived irrational rage of the Constitutionalists.

Collect your thoughts and prepare yourself in a calm and rational fashion.  Prepare yourself to take on a powerful group of opinion makers.  Prepare a plan and work towards the goal: total victory for Liberty.
