Implying it was was the people’s fault that Mitt Romney wasn't elected!
In light of their 2008 debacle, it's more than fair to assume the GOP had to know pitting another liberal vs. a liberal wasn’t a good idea, yet they openly supported Romney anyway. Not only was their support evident during the Presidential Election, it was clear during the Republican Primaries as well.
Considering President Obama received approximately six million less votes than in 2004 and you’re left with only one conclusion - - Mitt Romney was the wrong candidate. Notwithstanding the fact that he and the GOP ran a “piss-poor” campaign!
With that said, let’s re-write history for a bit and pretend Mitt Romney was elected. Would things be any different now?
