I Just want to give you a quick update of where we are at on swapping CBC to WordPress.
First I am in no hurry to get it done. I am taking my time with it - I want an "Oh wow this is cool" reaction when I roll it out.
Second, I want it to be painless for you all to get set up. I don't want to run anyone off because it is too complicated to register.
Third, I want it painless for me as well. I want people to sign up without any help from me.
Basically, I am putting everything I have learned about blogging into this site. Polls, quizzes, contests, pic galleries. And I will be sending a lot of im41 traffic.
As a note, I plan on making im41 more sport centric. I want to lure low information voters in with more sport stuff and then educated them. So I will lighten up on the political over there, and up my participation with you all at CBC. I know a sports junkie who wants to post at im41.
Thelma, Hack and the rest will be moving over here to help you out.
What I am envisioning is a hybrid between CBC, im41 and Red State in that anyone can register and post.
It will be laid out kinda like Weasel Zippers or iOwnTheWorld, with a more clean look than what we have now.
Oh, and I will give you all rights to see the stats so that you can watch the site grow.
Any ideas or concerns?

The sites you mention are great sites, iOWNTheWorld and Zippers BUT they both take a long time to load and constantly refreshing it seems. It does not matter what computer I use or from where. So just a concern of sorts BC. I think what you want to do is excellent but just be careful of too many bells and whistles. Like the new cars of today, an EMP would render many useless. You are a lot more intelligent than I am on this stuff. You are driving as so to speak and this old duffy logger has voiced his support and a tiny concern.
I just mean in looks -- the blog will be super fast...
I am keeping it very simple. I will have someone make me a great header.
Don't worry, you will love it...
From what you have PROVEN you can do, I am not too worried. I like the idea of getting to LIV' s through sports. Simple is good as I am sorta old and well have permagrump, as you know.
It is all about getting read, and I know that this new blog will really up the "Conservative Blogs Central" hits...
And another thing - I am tired of giving the commies at Google my business..
That is something I am TOTALLY in agreement with. If I had the smarts I would my site off of google. Beyond commies and pinkos, traitors......
Lol, make CBC your site... BTW, one little tweak and that header is freaking perfect...
