The problem with Herman Cain, at least from the
liberal standpoint, is that he doesn’t know his place. In fact, I believe the
term used by Southern Democrats during the 19th and 20th
century was “uppity,” although, as I have never been a Southern Democrat (nor
any other kind of Democrat), I’m not sure if they still use the word or not. If
they don’t, I’m sure they think it a lot.
Recently, prominent liberals such as Candy Crowley and Lawrence O’Donnell
have openly questioned whether or not Herman Cain really understands what it
means to be Black. Interesting, since neither of them are Black. (Source) (Source) And perennial race-baiter Al Sharpton has
gone on record questioning Cain’s views on racism (which differ sharply from
his own), and wonders “what’s on his pizza!” (Source) Sharpton has even publically questioned
whether or not Cain is “authentically Black” (Source). No doubt this is in part due to Cain’s
refusal to call himself an “African-American,” and prefers to use the term “Black
American” (Source).
Al Sharpton. Obviously the only real expert on the Black race. |
I can assume that Mr. Cain is completely unaware of the scores of
Africans now enslaved on southern plantations and the current Democrat enacted
Jim Crow laws that prevent Blacks from voting, owning property, and other rights
enjoyed by Whites. (Oh, wait, that’s right. Republicans overturned all that
much to the chagrin of the majority of Dems!).
