Obama Says He Need One More Term to Destroy the Economy

Obama is using the strategy "blame Congress" as is campaign slogan. He actually believes the faltering economy isn't his fault. Actually, Obama's presidency is one big joke. In the past 3 years, Obama has traveled throughout America campaigning. He has not stopped. Instead of offering solutions, he puts blame on other people. Obama is more of a follower than a leader, which is pathetic. It is really scary when the president says he needs one more term to finish the job. In Obama's first term, he has not done anything to improve the economy. Thus, Obama needs more more term to destroy this economy.

(AP) -- Blending governing with re-election politics, President Barack Obama roused a cheering northeast Pennsylvania crowd Wednesday as he warned of a "massive blow to the economy" if Republicans block a payroll tax extension.

But hours later, addressing donors in New York, he toned his rhetoric down and declared progress was possible.

Obama took to the road with a dual pitch for money, campaigning for more cash in the pockets of U.S. workers - and for his campaign treasury as well.

Obama told one group of donors that he still needs to make sure that key aspects of the health care law get implemented in 2014, that banking regulations are enacted and that energy policies are updated.

"I'm going to need another term to finish the job," he said.

Meanwhile on Capitol Hill, Republicans said they were prepared to extend the temporary payroll tax cut, but they opposed Democrats' plan to pay for it by taxing incomes over $1 million, setting up a showdown over how to find mutually acceptable savings of over $100 billion before any extension could become law. The GOP released a plan of their own that would raise money by freezing federal workforce salaries and providing government benefits according to income.

The full payroll tax of 6.2 percent would be restored if Congress does not act by year's end, increasing taxes on 160 million Americans. Obama and the Democrats want to expand this year's 2 percentage point reduction in the payroll tax as well as extend, it while Republicans favor a straight extension.

"If Congress doesn't act to extend this tax cut then most of you ... the typical middle-class family is going to see your taxes go up by $1,000 at the worst possible time," Obama said.

In making a case for the consequences of letting the tax cut lapse, Obama offered a bleak assessment, telling his audience: "It would be tough for you. It would also be a massive blow for the economy because we're not fully out of the recession yet."

How Cain Can Come Back In Bialek and White

s-HERMAN-CAIN-large

In watching Herman Cain on Sean Hannity’s  show tonight, I heard something that was new (for me) in this whole saga.  Cain said with a conviction more solid than obsidian:

I am going to clear my name.

I had a growing anger at the possibility that these charges ARE false, and that the Democrats will have succeeded in their plan.  Although I’m not convinced Cain is the strongest candidate, I’ve always thought he was the most dangerous to Obama.  I also realize that if we allow this to happen to Cain – whether we are supporting him for the Presidential nomination or not – we are TEACHING the liberals and mainstream media what works.

Limbaugh said today he doesn’t think this is coming from Obama because they would wait until the general election.  Rush may usually be right, but not in this scenario.  The Ulstermann “insider” information that Obama was going to ramp up the issue of “race” to get reelected has only grown more credible with the news these past two weeks:

  • Obama has written off the “white” voter
  • Via a speaker at King Street Patriots – the $1 Billion Obama is supposed to raise is primarily aimed at voter fraud, and,
  • African American communities are showing an increase of activity hiring “community organizers”

There is still something funky about the suspected white Presidential assassin with a Jewish tattoo who claimed God told him to kill Obama whose hi-def picture looking at the camera just happened to make it to the state-run media MSNBC about 40 seconds after he was named as a subject.  (Never mind the shooter was using the equivalent of a scattergun 300 yards away but miraculously hit and cracked a bulletproof window without any military training.) But if Obama WAS going to make it White versus Black through a faked “racial” attack or whatever, you couldn’t have Cain running in a general election.  You would HAVE to take him out now.  And just in case that is the case – we conservatives can not allow that to happen.

So PolitiJim’s advice to Herman Cain that will give him a shot at getting back in the race – even if only to be a Vice Presidential Nominee.

Take a Lie Detector Test.  I am all but certain Herman is getting set up.  And certainly polls show most conservatives (lesser conservative women) don’t buy the charges.  But a report today by the AP cites Cain supporters who reiterate what I’ve heard on Twitter.  It’s just a steady drip and it’s not worth the effort.  I beg (on my little birdy knees) to differ.  My contention is that although Cain has other hurdles, the continuous charges are like holes in a garden hose draining not just the focus of his campaign, but the punch and power.  I breathed a sigh of relief with Cain’s conviction to contend for his character.  And he actually doesn’t need to prove every charge from here to resurgency.  He only needs to debunk the two strongest -Bialek and White.

gingerwhite Cain said he would be willing to take a lie detector test.  The longer he waits to do so – it just seems like MORE “he said.”  I hope an FBI certified (and vetted by conservative intelligence analysts) lie detector test is given which not only would prove that HE was not lying about these two (and it would then put the pressure back on them to do the same), it would inoculate Cain to further “bimbo eruptions.”  His supporters would strengthen their support and any further revelations would quickly be discounted.  It would be affirmed that Cain is who he said he was.

He said tonight that the campaign was vigorously preparing “things he couldn’t talk about” to address these charges once and for all.  With hard proof – not rumor or gossip.  That is good, but had he done this directly after Bialek – he would already be back on topic.  Leading us to action number 2:

Fire your old campaign leadership and hire a top notch crew.  The ads are underwhelming and poorly produced.  The reaction to what is happening dynamically is always not just a step behind, but a half marathon.  The advice has not only been slow, it is has been WRONG.  Go hire the Perry campaign staff.  They are probably looking for a way to be thrown from that bronco.  But do it now.

SpeedLimit999Sign Use 9-9-9 as dessert, not the main entre.  Your economic plan is among the best out there.  Some make the ridiculous argument that the sales tax could be raised (uhhh, like an income or flat tax couldn’t?) but that isn’t even that important to the overall strength which is the reduction of capital gains and business tax, along with the elimination of the IRS.  Don’t be so rigid on the sales tax suggesting two other alternatives (many like jumping completely from just “9-9” to a fair tax like Newt or Perry’s), but people already know that song.

Start attacking Obama’s lack of records and stolen Social Security Number.  Trump didn’t soar to first place in the polls because we all thought he would actually be a good president.  Or because he sells condos to the Chinese (or whatever he said his foreign policy experience was.)  obama-stressed-face It was that someone finally was pointing out the hypocrisy of the chief law enforcement officer blatantly passing off forged papers as real and then laughing at us.  It also would make him stronger as a VP pick to “get in the gutter” and give a great contrast to his Inspirational Story in contrast to Obama’s.  I still can’t figure out why Bachmann or Cain haven’t already been doing this.  The reason it is derided so much by the MSM is BECASUE they know it is effective – like the prohibition at MSNBC to bring up Jeremiah Wright.  Cain is the only one who can effectively do this!

Start announcing a serious transition team.  If you have generals, credible Secretary of State or other cabinet officials who you have been courting – it is time the minute the resurgence happens to start showing America WHO these great leaders are you would have help you to do the job.  You released a wonderful list of foreign policy advisors.  Now is the time to actually put the final nail in the coffin concerning your leadership and don’t wait to announce your cabinet.  Do it now!  The benefit is that your cabinet will multiply your voice and add the depth some have had concerns about.  Even on 9-9-9 sign Laffer up to be Secretary of Treasury.  Then he can start painting the picture of what policies a Cain cabinet would contain.

And one other final note.  Cain of all candidates has the ability to create inspiration as Reagan did.  He needs a “morning in America” phrase to give people that hope.  No one can deliver inspiration like Cain.  And you’ve got an edge the others don’t.  You already escaped a “death” 5 years ago.  You know miracles can happen.

Laura Ingraham Show - Ron Paul: Newt Gingrich is not a conservative

Ron Paul is a certifiable nut, but he has this right at least. He has no chance of getting elected but that doesn't mean he can't do a good job of exposing Newt for what he is.

Don't settle people. You didn't like Newt in the beginning for good reason.

The Sino-America War

The Sino-America War

A Commentary by J. D. Longstreet

It is coming as sure as the sun rises in the east.  China and America are headed for a military showdown.

China’s recent announcement that it will now consider roughly 90% of the South China Sea it’s territorial waters will certainly cause our two navies to brush up against each other and create sparks… sparks that could easily ignite a global conflict between the US and China.

“China’s aggressive behavior and threatening rhetoric are complemented by massive militarization. Beijing is projecting military power far from its shores with a rapidly growing, modern blue-water navy, long-range aircraft with refueling capabilities, a global satellite network, anti-access ballistic missiles (read aircraft carrier killers) and its first aircraft carrier. These instruments of war provide Beijing an expeditionary capability that could lead to a shooting war.” (SOURCE)

Things have gotten so touchy between the US and China militaries that “… the U.S. established a cold war-like hotline between China’s People's Liberation Army and the chairman of the U.S. Joint Chiefs of Staff …”) (SOURCE)

With tensions so high it is prudent to expect the US 7th Fleet to find itself in perilous situations with China’s navy as the 7th fleet patrols the South China Sea.

All this pugnacious behavior by China has scared the dickens out of many of the neighborhood’s Asian countries. They have begun banding together and they are asking the US to join with them to aid them in countering China’s expansionist moves in the region.

Just as things are reaching critical mass in the Middle East and China is showing signs that it is about to begin throwing it’s military weight around, the US government is seriously discussing massive cuts in the US military.  If the huge cuts in the military budget, made possible by the failure of the Congressional “Super Committee’s” inability to reach some sort of agreement, are actually allowed to come to pass, the US will have a military slightly larger than it had at the beginning of World War One. The feared “hollow military” will become a fact --  and the world will be defenseless against such opportunist countries as China, Russia, Iran, and North Korea, not to mention the Islamofacists and their terror machine.

Look.  Cutting the US military at such a critical time in world history would be stupid and idiotic -- not to mention suicidal.

A US-China war has been brewing since shortly after the Second World War.  With Chinese interests and assets all over the world now, when it comes, it will be a global conflict.

The ‘dogs of war” are inevitably set loose when America elects a weak President.  Mr. Obama has proven to be an astonishingly weak President. His administration has been a “by-stander” administration. He enjoys leading from the rear much as “parade ground generals” do.  It looks good, but it does absolutely nothing to either maintain the peace or instill confidence in the military -- let alone our friends and allies.

If history has taught us anything -- it is that a weak US President invites trouble from America’s enemies.

Leftist and liberal presidents usually ARE weak in defending America.  It appears they are embarrassed for being an American citizen, and they jump at every chance to apologize to the world for what THEY consider America’s mistakes.  Such weakness only emboldens America’s enemies and makes a laughing stock of America’s President. More importantly, it places the people of the United States in danger.

Some in the Obama Administration are suggesting to the President that the US should reduce its military commitment in the Middle East and re-focus on Asia.  They are claiming the US has allowed Asia to “slide,” if you will, in the past few decades.  I agree with only a part of that suggestion.  It seems to me that America should focus on China and prepare for the inevitable – military conflict with the Chinese. At the same time, the US cannot afford to turn its back on the Middle East.  The plain truth is -- we MUST have Middle Eastern oil.  AND we have Islamic enemies based in the Middle East who are intent on the destruction of the US (and Israel).  In fact, the US will not BE ALLOWED to turn away from the Middle East, even if we wanted to.

China’s neighbors in Asia are seriously seeking to create a sort of NATO of Asian states with the US as the anchor, just as in NATO.  That may, in fact, turn out to be a good idea.  Even the former enemy of the US, Viet Nam, is angling for an American security blanket in Asia. THAT should tell you just how frightened China’s neighbors really are.

Even Europe is unstable these days.  European history teaches us that European states tend to go at each other’s throats when desperation sets in -- as it seems bound to do in the very near future.

The US simply cannot afford to reduce its military when the world is on the brink of utter chaos.

The wisest course, it seems to me, is for the US to BUILD-UP its military, and prepare for the coming contest between itself and China.  On the other hand, the US needs to accept that America is in the Middle East for many decades to come.  To make huge cuts in the US military budget now, or in the immediate future, is a pipe dream and should be trashed and forgotten.
