I had this thought today when reading some articles. What does Mr. Obama actually do? I mean besides wear slick suits, and give press conferences. I don’t even think he should be giving press conferences, I mean after all he claims to learn about these scandals via the press, and when they ask him questions about it, he is “not aware” of anything like that. What is he aware of? I mean honestly he claimed that he heard about the IRS targeting conservative organizations during the 2012 election while watching the evening news. What? Did he really say that? He did.
What is going on? I mean honestly, he is either a terrible liar, or grossly incompetent. What the heck kind of staff does he have that is not keeping track of this crap for him? When the President learns of a breaking scandal involving the IRS on FRIDAY after the news story had already broken.
Last month when asked about the Benghazi hearings, and the fact that American’s believe his administration is blocking people from testifying, he claimed he “wasn’t aware” of anything like that.
He made dire threats about the sequester, then when it happened and the world kept moving he shut down white house tours, claiming there was no money for them. In the mean time there is of course money for him to travel and make jokes at the AP correspondents Dinner. I mean its good to make sure the little people feel the pain, but for Obama the show goes on.
Obama appears to be completely powerless, and uniformed of what is going on with his own administration. He goes about trumpeting Obamacare, telling keynote speakers at college graduations to emphasize it, and even has co-opted mothers day. Yet he seems to be unable to do anything really. After holding steady through 2010 people with healthcare coverage has actually DECLINED. Not only that, but employers offering health care coverage to their employers has declines as well, from 49.8% to 44.5%.
Now yet another HUGE scandal that Obama was completely unaware of. The DOJ seized two months of records from the Associated Press.
“Other than press reports, we have no knowledge of any attempt by the Justice Department to seek phone records of the AP,” White House Press Secretary Jay Carney said in a statement today. “We are not involved in decisions made in connection with criminal investigations, as those matters are handled independently by the Justice Department. Any questions about an ongoing criminal investigation should be directed to the Department of Justice.”
Are you kidding me? Who are these people that don’t report to the White House? Once again, either Obama is lying, or he is grossly incompetent. When the department of Justice intimidates the press, and seizes their records and creates a huge scandal, it is YOUR JOB to know. Doesn’t he have briefings? If so, what is he doing sleeping?
It would appear that Obama not only knows nothing but apparently helpless, to actually DO anything. All of his appointees and press people, and Public Relations, don’t seem to be informing him, or helping him in any way.
If Obama is not in charge, that begs the question…. Who is really running the White House?
