Happy 4th of July. God’s Gift to America

 

We celebrate, as Americans, on this special day, our country’s independence. We broke away from the motherland; so that, we may govern ourselves fairly with certain unalienable rights endowed by our Creator; that among these are Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness. 

We must remember our founding fathers followed the Judeo/Christian faith, which was the cornerstone of this great nation. Freedom was the byproduct that brought people from all over the world to this country. Freedom to express oneself, to practice any religion, and able to live independently was the ideology of  our founding fathers. 

While many Americans sees this as a day off from work, bbq with friends/family, and blowing off fireworks, we must remind ourselves how lucky we live in this great nation. It is by the Grace of God that He sent the Holy Spirit to guide our founding fathers to create the laws that are humane, equal, fair, and respectful to all. And we should continue to pray to the Lord to send the Holy Spirit to guide our current lawmakers to do the right thing and do the bidding of God, and not for their selfish, corrupted needs.

Because if we don’t follow God, this nation will suffer. Look what is happening around us. Lawmakers making unfair laws, judges putting innocent people in jail, rogue lawyers persecuting political opponents, and unelected officials making crazy rules that makes no sense at all. The result of this led to senseless killings, murders, wars, and undue suffering among the American people. We are seeing people being demoralized; and eventually, conditioned that this is the social norm. This is not the intention of the founding fathers. As you can see, without God or if we live in a Godless society, I can assure you that chaos, disunity, and suffering will follow. 

If we continue to follow leaders that don’t do God will, we are doomed. If we elected politicians who are in it for themselves, we are doomed. If we continue to be controlled by people that are against our basic rights, we are doomed. Don’t let this happen. Let this day be enjoyable. Put God back in your heart. Let Him lead you how you ought to live; to live life to your fullest, to be free from oppression, and to pursuit the happiness we all desire.
