This is Rep. Barbara Lee, D-California. Her and a dozen other House Democrats claims that global warming could drive women to prostitution. According to these democrats, climate change will affect women worse than men and could force poor women into the sex trade.
"Food insecure women with limited socioeconomic resources may be vulnerable to situations such as sex work, transactional sex, and early marriage that put them at risk for HIV, STIs, unplanned pregnancy, and poor reproductive health," the resolution says.Well, Thank God for democrats so that I won't become a prostitute! The stupid people that are voted in to public office are becoming dumber by the minute. And here I thought that the weather was actually colder than it has been.
I have to say...I grew up poor. In a family of 7 children in which my dad left my mom to "deal" with. She only had an 8th grade education. But she worked hard...very hard. She never went on public assistance and none of us ever went without food, clothing, or shelter. And we never went without love. We learned how to work for the things we wanted and needed. And as we grew into adults...not a single one of us have ever been in jail and neither me nor my sisters have ever once prostituted ourselves out. No children born out of wedlock and not a one of us milking the system.
THAT is the lesson that these "poor" women need to be taught. All this resolution does is give the leeches of society yet another crutch to use to get something from the government...taking from people like my mom, who worked her ass off for us.
Maybe you, Barbara Lee, are afraid that YOU might become a prostitute because of global warming. I say, don't worry...you are far to stupid to ever make it as a prostitute. It takes basic math to make a living in that trade. Idiot.
