The Flu is More Dangerous Than the Coronavirus. Don’t Listen to the Media

Sorry that I was away. For the past month, I had a constant, annoying dry cough that wouldn’t stop. I took vacation time from work to avoid any of my coworkers from getting it. Hence, I couldn’t be called a terrorist. Lol. I caught this nagging cough from a coworker who came back from a cruise in mid-January. Since then, whatever he had he gave it to me. Symptoms were unremarkable. No fever, no sweating, no respiratory problems, no sore throat, no running nose, no diarrhea, and no other symptoms that reflects a flu or the Coronavirus.  But to make sure, I took vacation time and stayed at home.

I sipped two shots of whiskey. My whiskey of choice I enjoy drinking is either Macallan 15 or Suntory Toki. I drank it everyday while I was sick and it seems to help. My coughing lessened each passing day, but it took over a month. No doctors. No hospital. No medication.  I keep myself basically healthy. I work out often and I watch my caloric intake. 

Since I don’t watch a lot of television, I get my news online. However, since I’m home bound, I sat and surfed the channel from all the major networks.  From morning to night, all the coverage hovered on the Coronavirus, COVID-19, Wuhan virus, or the Chinese virus. At this point, I really don’t care what it is called. For simplicity, I will call it Coronavirus.

The first thing I always recommend is to verify the medias manipulation to the news.  As a priority, the media love chaos and anything to bring the president down. It was obvious and blatant how the media was trying to pin the virus on the president. It’s so ironic how the media whined for the past three year that Trump wouldn’t give a formal press meeting. Now they get a daily news press briefing on the Coronavirus with the president and the press regrets it. I’m not the only one that see it. Everybody sees it. The press would mince and cut/paste video during the afternoon press briefing to make Trump look bad for the evening news.  When it became blatant the major news networks were spreading fake news Trump decided to give his press briefing during prime time when most of America can watch it live and uncensored.  This made the president look good and the media look weak. In fact, the main stream media wanted to stop broadcasting the press conference all together.  Now, that’s irony. Of course, the main stream media won’t stop broadcasting. If they did, they would be losing ads and sponsors.

But I digress. I wanted to write about the stigma that the media caused in this country.  If the media had its choice they would love this virus pandemic last through to the elections. They would love to call this Trumps Hurricane Katrina. It is disgusting how the media plays the fear of the American people.

But let me make myself completely clear, this virus is not as bad as the flu or influenza. Granted that the Coronavirus doesn’t have a vaccine, which makes it dangerous, but if there wasn’t a flu vaccine, we would see a huge pandemic of epic proportions.  Also, since we had a vaccine for the flu there are still over 200,000 death to the influenza or the common flu. Look at this:

Notice this was dated on 1/2020. It states the World Health Organization (WHO) estimated worldwide  flu epidemic to cause between 3-5 million cases and 250,000-500,000 deaths.  Remember we have the flu vaccine. These vaccines can give you a 50% change of immunity for the year as long the scientists got the right strain right. There are 200 active strains of the flu virus. Scientist pick three or four prevalent stains to be included to make the vaccine each year. In my accounts, there are less then 20 strains of the COVID-19. Now let compare to this picture:

Anyone can manipulate numbers, but they can’t twist facts. The media love to tout about the death rate. Forget the death rate. That figures has been manipulated from both sides to make it look positive or negative. Let’s look at hard facts. We are concerns about how many deaths this virus can cause each year. The fatality is a travesty, but numbers are numbers.  In a give year, the flu can cause 250,000 to 500,000 deaths and it is dependent upon if the scientists chose the right stain to create the flu vaccine for that year. The Coronavirus caused 8,908 death this year.  Can you see the difference? Also, keep in mind there isn’t a vaccine for the Coronavirus as of now. 

Now let’s look at the death toll and cases for the Coronavirus in America.

Do you see the comparison? The CDC estimated in the USA 36 million cases, and 22,000 deaths, of which 144 deaths were children, for the flu. Keep in mind a flu season is from October to April. The Coronavirus started in December 2019. For the Coronavirus in the USA, as of March 18, 2020, there were 7038 cases and 97 deaths, of which 1 child from Illinois died. It is a very stark contrast from what the media is purporting.  

Just like the flu, the Coronavirus can be transmitted by person to person from a cough, sneeze, or touching objects and transmitting them to you mouth, nose, or eyes. However, it is rare for someone not showing the symptoms of the Coronavirus to spread to other people. They have to have the symptoms to spread it.  Look at this picture

Now look at this:

With the flu, you are contagious on day one from contracting the virus. On day one of the infection, you are mostly healthy and not showing the symptoms.  Now, you tell me, which is more contagious. 

So let’s keep things in perspective. I understand the social distancing and closure to parks, stores, restaurants, and bars because we are selfish people. There are many who are sick, but insist they won’t give their sickness to anyone else. That is extremely stupid, ignorant, self-centered, and just plain dumb. Just because many chose to get vaccinated for the flu doesn’t mean or guarantee they will be immune from it or can’t get it from an infected person. The flu vaccine decreases the chances of a worldwide pandemic. Unlike the flu, the Coronavirus has no vaccine. Thus, different measures are needed to be taken account to combat it. 

But don’t succumb to the media’s panic. Recovery is high with the Coronavirus. We had other pandemics of the past like AIDS, swine flu (H1N1), bird flu (Avian flu), SARS, MERC, MRSA, Ebola, and the Zika Virus, and we survived each one. Unlike those past pandemics, Trump wasn’t president.  This Coronavirus is a pandemic just like those of the past, but the media is using it for their own personal agenda and that is to blame Trump for it.

As of Sunday, March 29, 2020, a General Primary Care Provider in NYC test 700 Coronavirus positive patient. The doctor gave them hydoxychloroquinone, zinc sulfate, and azithromycin for 5 day therapy. The result..... 100% CURED! Also, it cost $20.00 for a five day therapy.  

Soon you will hear of this.  Please don’t panic. A Coronavirus vaccine is currently  in clinical trials. However, mass production of the vaccine won’t occur til next year. Also, we are not sure it this Coronavirus will be a once time thing like SARS, which fell off the face of the earth. Nonetheless, there is medical treatment with drugs to stop the spread of this virus. Now, we just have to wait til it is announce. But please feel free and Google it yourself.  I just read it today. 

Monmouth University Poll Says No Trust in Impeachment

Monmouth University poll is a reputable poll used by Democrats and Republicans. And they’ve just released a poll on impeachment. which doesn’t look good for Democrats. Unlike other polls from the mainstream media, which favor Democrats, the Monmouth University poll has a balance sample. 

Well, in this poll, it  had a good sample of 29% Republican, 42% independent, and 29% Democrat. It was made up of 48% male and 52% female. It’s pretty fair to say it is a balance representation. 

73% of the people have little to no trust in the impeachment process. 60% say the Democrats are more interested in destroying Trump at any cost. 51% oppose impeachment. Only 37% say that Trump’s actions are clear grounds for impeachment. 

I haven’t seen the media showcasing this poll from Monmouth University. Nancy Pelosi should be very concern with this because her delicate Democrats that won in Trump district are going to lose their seats in 2020. Thus, it will cost Pelosi her Speaker of the House gig.

Ah, Democrats—and the mainstream media. Is that being redundant? They want members of the Electoral College to ignore their responsibility to cast ballots according to the provisions of their respective states and instead vote for Hillary Clinton for President. Unprecedented. Quasi-illegal.

They would have you up in arms because the Russians interfered in our American presidential election. How did they do that? You see, none of the voting machines in any state are connected to the internet (as far as I know—if they are, I would suggest the Democrats would be more likely to sabotage our elections than the Russians). No, you see, what the Russians did (and we have it on very good authority—Obama’s CIA) was hack the Democrat National Committee’s email account and—what else? Hillary’s private server?—to release emails, none of which, at this writing, have been denied as to their authenticity.

All this could have been prevented by the performance of one simple expediency: Had Hillary released all those emails in a timely fashion, when they were requested by Congress and by the FBI, the attendant consequences would have been faced and possibly overcome by the time of the election. She had a choice, and she chose to ignore subpoenas requesting ALL emails her office had sent and received during her tenure as Secretary of State. In essence, until Wikileaks started releasing emails pilfered from the Democrat National Committee’s “secure” server, all previous emails concerning Hillary’s conduct of affairs as Secretary of State should have already been in the public domain—released, publicized and vetted—according to the law.  Ah, but there’s the rub. You see, what we deplorables have not come to understand is that the law was never meant to be applied to the Clintons. Tell me who else—besides perhaps Barack Obama—would have the audacity to establish his own private server, rather than utilizing supposedly secure government equipment, in defiance of the law and presidential orders?

Who else would have so little regard for security as to relay classified information through her cleaning lady, who I think it is safe to say does not have a Top Secret security clearance? Who else might tell the Supreme Court, “I know what your subpoena says, but these are all the emails you are going to get from me.”?

Let’s go back to a point made earlier in this piece; the fact that this is Barack Obama’s CIA that has ostensibly obtained sufficient evidence to conclude that it was the Russians who hacked into Hillary’s private server and that of the DNC. An unintended consequence of using the IRS, ICE, FBI, CIA and any other government agency as water-carriers for the administration—to silence objections and deny equal access—is that it tends to make Americans doubtful of anything—ANYTHING—the government might say through any of its agencies. There are times, I am sure, when President Obama desperately NEEDS the American people to believe him. Some information coming from his office might be true; might even be critical for the American people to know. However, like the little boy in the fairy tale who cried wolf one too many times, he has sacrificed all believability. In fact, if you still believe what the President puts out, I have a friend who would like to talk to you about some oceanfront property he has for sale in Oklahoma.

Although he appears to have forgotten it, Obama famously told the Republicans in 2008 or 2012; maybe both: “There are consequences to losing elections”. Those consequences exist for both parties, Mr. President.

The Mainstream Media is Out to Defeat Mitt Romney, and What Romney Must do to Win the First Presidential Debate of 2012

When Mitt Romney put out his 59 point plan for America, the left said there were too many points. Now he has a 5 point plan and they say he’s not specific enough. As we know, the Mainstream Media (MSM) is teaming up with the left to support our president. On This Week, Face the Nation, and on Meet the Press on Sep. 23, 2012, the hosts, David Gregory, Bob Schieffer, and George Stephanopoulos, continually pushed liberal talking points. Instead of covering the Arab Winter and President Obama’s mishandling of it, they spoke instead of Romney’s as a failing campaign as if rooting against it… Stephanopoulos gave away the MSM’s strategy by warning us all, “Voters are going to be hearing about that leaked video (Romney’s ‘47%’ comment) every single day.” The MSM wants us to believe that all the skewed polls, which contain a vast over-sampling of Democrats - and assume the 2008 turnout for 2012, reveal that the president is way ahead. Quoting Peggy Noonan of all people, they said that the Romney campaign is a ‘rolling calamity.’ “Can he [Romney] turn it around?” Gregory asked. Chuck Todd, of MSNBC, analyzed that if you give the president just one toss-up state, he wins. Great. I hope all that false optimism keeps the Democrats home on election night!

Ever notice how the media never concentrates on the Democrats’ goofs? You know, during the 2008 campaign, then candidate Obama said he thought he still needed to visit the rest of the 57 states… He also said, “So it's not surprising then that they [people who live in small towns] get bitter, they cling to their guns or religion or antipathy toward people who aren't like them or anti-immigrant sentiment or ... uh, anti-trade sentiment as a way to explain their frustrations.” How many times have we heard that ignorant statement in the MSM over the last 4 years? Not much. Which reporter has ever called him out on it? Not one of them.

On Meet the Press on Sep. 23, 2012, David Gregory continued his assault on the former Massachusetts governor by concentrating on his tax returns and income. Don’t we have to ask, “Why is that so important?” Gov. Romney, while being filmed at a fund-raiser by a Democratic plant, said that 47% of the population won’t vote for him. Gregory took this 47% comment, highlighted it, took out of context by saying he meant that he didn’t care about those folks, and then swung it to Gov. Duvall Patrick (D-MA) who spoke for President Obama on the subject. Sen. Kelly Ayotte (R-NH), whose name Gregory had trouble pronouncing for some reason, spoke positively about Mr. Romney and his policies. Gregory challenged Ayotte to come up with some positive points - and she did, but they were predictably ignored by the show’s host.

Gregory, under the headline, “The Debate over the 47%, The Role of Government,” talked Romney down non-stop, never let up on the left-wing belief that Romney’s comment put people down. The debate should be about the issues, not Mitt Romney’s taxes, and not an in-artfully crafted comment by the Republican nominee. Hopefully, Mr. Gregory will get many chances to pronounce Sen. Ayotte’s name correctly in the near future.

So, what will Mitt Romney need to do in tomorrow’s debate? He must be gentle while refuting the silly points the president will offer, such as ‘this is a return to the Bush policies’ and ‘trickle down doesn’t work.” These statements mean that conservative policies didn’t make the lefties rich. They’re right, they won’t. But these policies do create jobs, unlike the foolish, wasteful, and destructive stimulus spending programs. Mr. Romney must point out that if you create 4.5 million jobs, as President Obama claims, but lose 8.5 million, that’s a net loss of 4 million jobs. Yeah, we know we need teachers and construction workers, Mr. President, but hiring them by the tens of thousands today won’t pull us out of a bad economy. Duh.

The governor needs to show that Obamacare, created in a smoky back room - without any Republican input, is a failure, just like the president’s lack of leadership. Mr. Obama failed to lead the Congress by forging working relationships, as Presidents Reagan did with Tip O’Neill and President Clinton did with Newt Gingrich. Partisanship happens only when the U.S. president can’t or won’t gain a compromise. President Obama shouldn’t blame it on the Republicans, and shame on him for doing so. Romney must emphasize that the current president’s lack of leadership in the Middle East (soft policy with Libya and Egypt on one hand, and spiking the football over the killing of Bin Laden at the Democrats’ convention on the other) caused the recent chaos there. And Romney must show that this has been the worst recovery since the 1930’s, and give specifics on how he and Paul Ryan will bring it back. There will be a better tax climate for business and investors, and more jobs. Yes, we did build it.

Mitt Romney must win the first debate, hands down. He must then win the others, and then the presidency. If we elect him, America will recover quickly. If we do not, the country will spiral out of control, downward. Without a strong foreign policy the world will become more dangerous and unfriendly to America. Without a clear energy policy and a plan for drilling, oil and other energy prices will continue to increase, as the current president has said he wants. The Tea Party will, by 2016, either way, become the major political force in America and if Romney loses now, it will, with the work of countless patriots, take a devastated U.S. along with its demoralized population and failed economy back from the social justice folks in four years. If Romney wins, the Tea Party will be his greatest asset and strongest ally, and it will feel once again like the America we once knew.
