Americas Real Epidemic: Lack Of Morality

Maybe it’s me, maybe I’m just getting old and becoming  an old fuddy duddy, but I see a big collapse of morality in this country. Day after day I read the paper and I can’t believe the stories that they allow in newspapers today.

I pick up the New York Post which is a big newspaper in New York City, I open it up and one of the stories has a headline that reads, “Man explains why he won’t perform oral sex on women.” Why is that even news, does anyone even care why? It’s vulgar and doesn’t belong in a newspaper; it belongs in the Penthouse Forum maybe. Do I want my grandchildren looking at something like that? I don’t think so.

It’s not only the stories about sex, which are every where, but stories I read and shake my head and say “what the hell is going on in society today.”

I can’t tell you how many times I read stories about parents killing their kids, or kids killing their parents, or parents pimping out their 5 year old daughters in order to get money to pay for their drug habits, it truly turns my stomach and brings me to tears.

There is a big drug epidemic in this country; I think a lack of morality is a big factor for that. I am by no means a holy roller but I do believe in God and that we as a country are moving farther away from him. It seems to me the farther we move away from him the worse our society gets.

Just look at what we as a country celebrate. Abortion, drug use, unwed motherhood, same sex marriage, homosexuality and other perversions, prostitution is now legitimized by calling them sex workers. The part that disturbs me the most is that these subjects are taught in our schools to our children, but God is not allowed in schools, it’s against the law. I don’t know about you but that seems backwards to me.

Another big problem in this country is if you speak up and protest about the lack of morality, you are shouted down by Liberals and the main stream media and called a racist, bigot and a hater.

It’s time for people to stop being afraid, it’s time to start shouting louder then the people on the Left. The Democratic Party is moving farther and farther to the Left, we can’t let them move the whole country that way. In California they already want to replace Lincoln’s birthday with a Socialist Holiday, boy I wish they would secede already.

If my beliefs make me a racist, bigot and a hater then so be it, I’m not changing because of some load mouth Liberal.
